The Top Hana well, a monument dating back to the XVI century, served to supply the population with water until 1970. The monument stands out for the columns and parts of the well, which have been restored in the space of 25 m2. In the Venetian period, there must have been a serious intervention, which is evident from the use of ancient elements such as granite columns, large quadrangular stones that surround the mouth of the well in the form of cobblestones.
According to historians, the medieval well previously served as a gunpowder factory, which gave it the name “Top-Hane”.
