Elida Cela is an artisan located at the Kruja Old Bazzar who creates folk costumes through hand embroidery and old machines, combining tradition with passion. She was inspired to engage in the preparation of traditional costumes precisely because of their absence in her family, despite her grandmother being a weaver and having inherited all her knowledge. For the first time, Elida bought an old suit, took it apart and then sewed it from scratch, marking the start of a long journey in this field. One of her passions is sewing vests with gold thread.
“Elida Cela“ is branded by Progress Foundation, under EU4Culture program funded by the European Union and implemented by UNOPS Albania in partnership with the Ministry of Culture.
